Keepsake End User License Agreement

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This agreement is between you and Gabriel Gutierrez ("we", "us"), who makes audio plugins under the name Keepsake. It covers any Keepsake plugin you buy or download, together with its factory kits, presets, samples and manual (together, "the Software"). Installing or unlocking the Software means you accept these terms.

1. What you get

When you buy the Software, you receive a personal licence to install and use it on up to ten computers you own or personally use. The licence does not expire.

You buy a licence to use the Software. You do not buy the Software itself: we keep all rights to it that this agreement does not give you.

2. The music you make is yours

Everything you record, perform or produce with the Software is yours. You can release it, sell it, license it and use it commercially, with no royalty and no credit owed to us.

3. Factory sounds

The Software comes with factory samples and kits. You can use them in your own music, including music you sell, without any royalty. You may not sell them, give them away or redistribute them on their own or as part of a sample pack, sound library, preset bank or another instrument, even if you change them first.

4. What you may not do

5. Unlocking

The Software connects to the internet to check your license key with Gumroad when you unlock it. For the first 30 days after that, it checks the key again at most once a day while its panel is open, and it stops working if the purchase has been refunded or charged back. After 30 days it never connects again. Being offline never stops it working. Section 7 and the privacy policy say exactly what is sent.

6. Updates

We may release updates, and they are free for owners of the same product version unless we say otherwise when you buy. We don't promise to release any particular update or feature.

7. Privacy

The privacy policy at keepsakeplugins.com/privacy describes the data the Software and the store handle. In short: the unlock sends your key to Gumroad, and nothing else leaves your computer.

8. Third-party software

The Software contains open-source components. Their licences apply to those components, and their notices are in the plugin's About box (? → about).

9. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including that the Software is fit for a particular purpose, will run without errors, or will work with any particular host or computer. The refund policy at keepsakeplugins.com/refunds says what to do if it doesn't work for you.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost data, lost work or lost income, arising from the Software. In any case our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.

Some places do not allow these limits. If you live in one, they apply only as far as the law there allows.

11. Ending the licence

This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. If it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy of it. Sections 2, 9, 10 and 12 still apply after that.

12. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. If any part of it can't be enforced, the rest still applies. This is the whole agreement between you and us about the Software.
